Refund and Cancellation Policy

October 6, 2026

Introduction

This policy explains how you cancel a Lingo180.com plan and how refunds work. Paddle is our merchant of record and handles every payment.

Free periods

Learners can use the A1 stage free for three months from sign-up; approved teachers have six months free for five student accounts. No payment details are needed and nothing is charged during a free period.

After a free period

Nothing is charged automatically. A charge happens only when you choose a plan yourself and complete checkout; the first period is billed at that moment.

14-day refund, no reason needed

In line with consumer law, you can ask for a full refund of any payment — a first payment, a renewal or a Lifetime plan — within 14 days of the charge, without giving a reason. Send a request from Support on the account page or email support@lingo180.com, and we will process it with Paddle.

Cancelling a renewing plan

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal and does not end the current period: Premium stays available until the end of the period you have paid for, and the account then returns to free use.

After 14 days

After 14 days, unused time on a period you have already paid for is not refunded automatically.

How to cancel

Cancel under plan management on the account page. Deleting your account does NOT cancel a renewing plan — cancel it first.

Exceptional cases

If you believe your case is exceptional, for example a duplicate charge, contact Support on the account page or support@lingo180.com, and we will review it with Paddle. Where the law of your country gives you stronger rights, that law applies.

Merchant of record

Plan payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, acting as merchant of record. Invoices and VAT receipts are issued by Paddle.
