Deutsch Lab Company ("we") operates DeutschLern, a German language learning app ("Service"). This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. Information We Collect
• Account: email address, display name • Learning: vocabulary history, quiz results, grammar completions, streaks, XP • Subscriptions: status, expiry date, trial status (payment card details are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play — we do not receive or store them) • Support: messages, timestamps, admin replies • App diagnostics: app version and device type (collected automatically by Firebase)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and manage your account, deliver personalized learning content, save your progress, manage subscription access, respond to support requests, and improve the Service.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, learning data, and support history. Some records may be retained for a limited period where required by applicable law.
5. Third-Party Services
• Firebase / Google LLC: authentication, database, hosting • RevenueCat Inc.: subscription management • Sentry.io: error monitoring and diagnostics • Apple App Store / Google Play: subscription payments Each provider processes data under their own privacy policy.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers listed above to operate the Service, or when required by applicable law.
7. Your Rights and Account Deletion
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, use "Delete Account" in the app. For other requests, contact support@lingo180.com.
8. Security
We use Firebase Security Rules to restrict data access (you can only read and write your own data), HTTPS/TLS encryption for data in transit, and Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in.
9. Children's Privacy
DeutschLern is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by email before they take effect.
